What is NuCypher (NU)?

The NuCypher Network (NU) is a decentralized Key Management System (KMS) that provides encryption & cryptographic access control leveraging proxy re-encryption. The network is powered by the NuCypher ERC20 token NU, which is staked in order to run nodes on the NuCypher network.

Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) – The NuFHE library enables secure, private computation on encrypted data by outsourced nodes.

Proxy Re-encryption (PRE) – The PRE network provides cryptographic access controls for distributed apps (dAPPS) & protocols.

Secrets Management – Manage secrets such as IAM tokens, database and SSH credentials, and signing/encryption keys across dynamic environments.

Dynamic Access Control – Access to sensitive data can be granted & revoked Conditionally (to an arbitrary number of recipients), & Dynamically across public networks.
